I have tried many language learning apps and this one was by far the best, easiest, and fastest. Duolingo is SO overrated because not only does it take forever to make any progress/learn actual words, the content is all over the place and makes it easy to forget. With Infinite Japanese, the content is sorted into quick, efficient levels (ex. numbers, colors, animals). After half an hour of play, I have already memorized numbers 0-10 (rei, ichi, ni, san, yon, go, roku, nana, kyu, hachi, ju)+.

This app is good for beginners to learn very basic vocabulary. It is sorted nicely into different categories (numbers, countries, animals, etc.). But there is not much room for growth. Even someone with no Japanese language knowledge could easily get through the content of this app after a week of use. It is a great base, but needs more content to work with. It also needs a way to get past basic levels if you have a higher vocabulary to begin with.

It's a game that tried to teach you to speak and understand Japanese. It is very aesthetically pleasing. Compared to other Japanese language teaching apps/games this one seems to stick. So far I'm just learning pronunciations, once I finished all the lessons and am confident I can remember it all I'll go back with kana and kanji. I think other apps try to through too many foreign things at once at you so you are overwhelmed. I can't wait to try other languages by the developer!
