This deceptively simple app is amazingly effective. Yes you can use it for study, but you can also use it for repetition practice. You can set up different repeat patterns both fast and slow, as well as timing pauses, so you can use it to practice speaking, to practice translation, or to just listen to while doing daily activities. And it's only $15 to unlock lifetime access to the whole app? Well worth it.

I used this app for a month or so before buying it. There is a lot of free content, but it's so good, I couldn't forego buying it any longer. It's great for listening (passive or active), reading (visual comprehension), and shadowing (listen and repeat). The male voice has absolutely spoiled me though... if I ever get a tutor or language exchange partner, I'm gonna be disappointed if they don't sound as good as him lol 😆 Highly recommend. Very easily worth the price!

I've been studying Chinese for 3 months, have used a bunch of different apps, and this is my favorite. The content can be used in many different ways (listening comprehension, only show characters for reading, or only show English & translate...). I'm only on lesson 60 but it has been a huge help in the process. The only minor thing I would like is a way to export difficult or tricky words in each lesson to Anki for review, kind of like what the Hanping dictionary does when you star a word.
